Strawberry Fair is Cambridge's annual free music and arts festival, held on the first Saturday in June. It is not-for-profit, relying entirely on income from traders, benefit gigs and other fundraising. It is run by a Committee of dedicated volunteers, which is always looking for new members and input. The Fair holds workshops, gigs and other community events throughout the year, and provides a forum for numerous charities and local groups to tell over 10,000 attendees what they do. Volunteers can gain valuable experience in event management, stewarding and production.
