"Solar Energy Prize Draw launched
A house with solar panels Cambridge City Council is offering local homeowners the chance to win a free solar hot water system.
The Council’s free Solar Energy Prize Draw is open to anyone who:
* Lives within Cambridge City
* Owns their home by freehold
* Commits to a solar hot water installation through the Cambridge and South Cambs Energy For Good Scheme between 1 August and 31 October 2007.
Everyone who commits to an installation between these dates will be automatically entered into the draw.
The winner of the draw will receive a completed solar hot water installation, or up to £3,500 towards the cost of installation, whichever is the lesser.
Entrants who are not successful in winning the top prize will be given the opportunity to apply for a £250 grant towards the cost of their solar hot water installation.
